THE LOGIC OF “LEADERSHIP” SUCCESS Featured in "Business on the Move Magazine"
Victor Antonio G.’s programs are loaded with real-life experience, inspiration and hope for those who believe they can’t achieve their goals. He escaped the poverty, drugs and violence; and, created “The Logic of Success Program”, a leadership and personal development series which incorporates the life-changing, thought-conditioning principles that transformed him from someone with no goals or ambition to an international record-shattering salesman. Vice-President of Sales in a $3B corporation and eventually the President of Sales and Marketing for a $420M company. Victor has received the prestigious President’s Advisory Council Award for outstanding leadership and management. Victor has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an M.B.A. and has given over presentations throughout the United States, Latin America, South Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Victor doesn’t just present grandiose concepts, but gives his audience the actual tools to turn small steps into big success. Keynote Outline L – Remember when you learned to cross the street, Stop, Look and Listen. Same rule applies to helping others cross their street to get to Success Avenue. I emphasize the value of ‘slowing down’ and noticing the small things before acting on impulse. I review what happens when you stop listening to others and go it alone. Theory X or Theory Y ? O – The big O in leading is about Overcoming the fear of failure, Overcompensating too often, Overworking the problem, Over promising your deliverables, Over emphasizing the small things and just Over blowing what needs to be done. Risk management and people skills are the keys to completing a mission or fulfilling a vision. G – Goals. Yes, goals again. Clarity and a timeline are the cornerstones of how leaders achieve success. I discuss why too often decisions are made, but never implemented. I’ll explain why 'goals are nasty'...see video online. I also talk about how we rationalize away our success every day, bit by bit. I - Initiate action. I use a 'hound dog' story with a participant from the crowd. This again is a show and tell part of the speech where I also bring in things like accountability. Pretty funny stuff. C - Communication. I talk about the power of communicating and how it will determine how successful one can be. But I also talk about the internal communication going on in your head. I make audience members aware of their own negative program. This also has a great personal story that addresses personal Leadership STYLE. I wrap up with, The Logic of Success Pledge of Allegiance. A definite hit to end the keynote! I keep it light, funny and fast paced as to keep the audience's attention. But more importantly I sneak in powerful messages without beating the audience over the head with the same old bromides and platitudes about leadership.
